Payment Policy
OptiVena Mobile Phlebotomy currently operates on a self-pay basis, meaning payment for our mobile lab convenience fee is due when you book or receive our service. The convenience fee covers the cost of collecting your samples at your home or office and transporting them to the lab for testing. The convenience fee may be reimbursable through your FSA or HSA account.
The testing performed on your specimens is separate and does get billed to the insurance you provide us at time of service (this excludes specialty kits) by the testing laboratory (ie: Labcorp or Sonora Quest) . This step stays the same whether you use our convenient mobile lab service or go to a traditional in-office blood draw. When we deliver your samples to the lab, we include a copy of your insurance information along with the lab order.
We deliver to the laboratory that is in network with your insurance. This lets us accommodate a wide range of clients with most insurance policies to use our convenient mobile lab service while still getting the testing portion of the laboratory work covered by insurance.
