  • Is mobile phlebotomy covered by insurance?

    Billing, Insurance, and What Our Fee Covers


     Routine & STAT Lab Draws (e.g., Labcorp or Sonora Quest orders)


    Mobile Collection Fee: Self-pay


    This fee covers:

    - Travel to your location

    - Specimen collection

    - Specimen processing (e.g., centrifuging or transferring plasma/serum)

    - Delivery of specimens to the lab for testing


    Lab Testing Fees:


    Billed directly to your insurance by the lab (Labcorp or Sonora Quest)


    We do not charge for or handle lab testing costs


    Any billing questions about lab tests should be directed to the lab


    📦 Specialty Kit Collections


    Mobile Collection Fee: Self-pay

    This fee covers:

    - Travel to your location

    - Specimen collection

    - Proper packaging and hand-off to the shipping carrier (e.g., FedEx or UPS)


    Lab Testing Fees: Paid directly by the client to the specialty lab


    OptiVena is not responsible for any specialty lab fees or payment arrangements


    We are responsible for drawing, processing, and safely delivering the sample

    Entirely Self-Pay Service


    This fee includes:

    - Travel to your location

    - Safe, professional blood removal by certified phlebotomist

    - Proper biohazard disposal of the blood


    Note: Blood is never donated or used for any purpose—disposal only


    No insurance is involved or billed for therapeutic phlebotomy procedures

    Entirely Self-Pay Service


    This fee includes:

    - All necessary items: kit, lab order, professional mobile phlebotomy draw and delivery to Fed-Ex for shipping. No other hidden costs to this service. 



  • How much does an at-home blood draw cost with OptiVena?

    Our pricing starts at $65 for routine lab draws. Specialty kits start at $65 and therapeutic phlebotomy starts at $150. We provide transparent rates with no hidden fees. View pricing here.



  • What is OptiVena’s cancellation or rescheduling policy?

    We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Late cancellations are non-refundable. This helps us keep mobile service flexible for all clients.


    If you are booking less than 24 hours in advance, no changes to the appointment can be made. Please make sure you have all necessary information availabe if you are booking for next day appointments. 


  • How do I get my lab test results?

    Your lab results are provided by the testing lab (Labcorp, Sonora Quest, or specialty lab) to your doctor that ordered the lab testing. 


    Once your doctor releases the results, they will be uploaded to your portal (if you have already registered via the lab's website or if your doctor offers a patient portal directly). 


    Please contact your doctor for any questions about your lab results.


    Please Note: We do not receive any results. 

  • Can I get a mobile blood draw without a doctor’s lab order?

    A valid lab order is required for us to perform a blood draw. If you don’t have one, you can order your own lab testing. Please note, this option requires you to self pay the testing costs upfront.


    If you would like to order your own testing and/or pay out of pocket for your lab testing, you can do so by going to Labcorp or Sonora Quest's website. They will email you a valid lab order that you can send to us for your at-home lab visit. 

  • What areas do you service?

    We serve Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, Florence, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Glendale, Surprise, and Buckeye. See our service map here.

  • Can multiple people get lab work during one mobile visit?

    Each household member must book their own appointment, but if time slots align, we can draw multiple clients during the same visit. If you’d like to coordinate specific times or accommodations, feel free to call or text us—we’ll do our best to make it work.

  • Can I add another lab order to my existing mobile appointment?

    Yes, as long as you notify us in advance. Additional lab orders from another provider can be added to your scheduled draw if we have time to accommodate it.



  • Do you draw for Labcorp, Sonora Quest, or specialty kits?

    Yes! We collect samples for Labcorp, Sonora Quest, and most physician-ordered lab kits. We also draw for specialty kits like Igenex, Vibrant Wellness, Boston Heart, Access Medical Labs, food sensitivity tests, and hormone panels and many more! Just have your kit ready at the appointment.

  • Do you offer therapeutic phlebotomy near me?

    Yes! OptiVena offers therapeutic phlebotomy throughout Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, and most of the Phoenix Valley. We follow your provider’s order and safely dispose of the blood after the draw.

  • How soon can I schedule a mobile blood draw?

    Same-day or next-day appointments are often available, depending on location and time. We serve clients 6 days a week. Weekend and STAT draws may be available—book now.

  • What types of tests can I get drawn at home?

    We draw for routine lab work, hormone panels, CBC, CMP, allergy panels, and more. 

    There are a few tests we cannot draw for at home because of special requirements. If we see them on your lab order, you will be notified before the appointment date.

  • Does OptiVena charge an additional travel fee for certain cities?

    We do not charge a travel fee for clients in Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, or Florence. 


    An additional fee does apply for West Valley cities. Fees are specified at time of booking and are transparent on our pricing page
